Steps to Convert 1000 Hours Military Time to Standard Time

1. Identify the Hour and Minutes:

In the military time format 1000, the first two digits (10) represent the hour, and the last two digits (00) represent the minutes.

2. Determine the Period (AM or PM):

Since the hour is 10, identify if the first two digits that is [10] less than or more than 12, if it is less than 12 than it is in AM period or if it is more than and equal to 12 it is in PM period.

3. Convert the Hour:

5. 1059 Hours Military Time: Converts to 10:59 AM.  This is just one minute before the next hour.
