Our website Clockdiary is https://app.clockdiary.com/, a time-tracking software used by professionals to input time-tracked data for calculating summaries and reports.

What information do we collect?

We may collect information like first name, last name, email address, and phone number during signup, and if you opt to save the password, then this information will stay until you do not delete the information from the web browser. 

If visitors leave any comments on Clockdiary’s website, we may collect the data shown in the comments and also the visitor’s IP address and browser string to help detect spam.

First name, last name, email address, and password information are collected at the time of signup and are saved on the browser if you click on save password. 

Media

If you upload any images to your profile, users should avoid uploading any images that may include embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Any visitors to the website may be able to download and extract any location data available from the images uploaded on the website.

Cookies

If you leave any comment on our website, you must opt-in to save your name, email address, and other information in cookies. These functions are for your convenience only so that you do not have to fill in your details again and again when you leave another comment next time. These cookies will be saved and last for at least one year in the database.

Who we share your data with

Only when users will request a password reset may we share your IP address, which will be included only in the reset email.

How long we retain your data

If you leave any comment, that comment and its metadata may be retained indefinitely. This happens so that we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a queue in moderation.

For the users who have registered on our website, we also store the personal information they provide by their profile. All users are allowed to see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time. Only website administrators other than users can have access or access to edit any such personal information given by the user.

What rights do users hold over their data?

If you have an account on Clockdiary or have left any comments, you can always request an exported file of all the personal data that Clockdiary holds about you, including the data you have provided. 

You can also request that we erase all personal data we hold that belongs to you. This will not include the data we are obliged to keep only for administrative, legal, or security purposes or as specified by laws but all basic profile information collected for the fulfillment of the requirements to complete profile registration.  

Where do we store the collected data

Clockdiary collects basic information for users like, name, last name, email address, profile picture and all this data is stored in user’s database. Only admins ans profile holders can make changes to this information which is available on the user profile. The collected is stored in the Clockdiary database till the user or the admin user does not delete the account associated with the user. Clockdiary never uses or misuses the user information in any way.
